Adidas unveiled a new women’s world cup jersey 2019 for the women’s football teams of Germany, Spain and Sweden in France this summer. Like Adidas’s jersey for the men’s football team in the World Cup last summer, the brand-new women’s football World Cup Jersey also draws inspiration from the team’s classic gowns.

Adidas has prepared home and away jerseys for the German women’s football team for the 2019 Women’s World Cup, among which the Away Jersey is the first to be designed independently for the women’s football team.

The Home Jersey is still the same design as the home jersey worn by the German national team in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Compared with the male soccer jersey, the black, red and yellow stripes representing the German flag in front of the female soccer jersey are presented in a more dynamic and speed-sensitive digital pattern, creating a unique sense of rhythm.

The German Football Association badge is placed in front of the shirt. The two pentagons above represent the glorious moment when the German women’s football team won the World Cup Championship twice.

Adidas’new Away Jersey is the first time that Adidas has tailored for the German women’s football team. The red jersey with the rhythmic pattern of black wave points looks more vigorous and faster. The three lines of Adidas’ triumph on both sides of the body combine innovation and tradition with the EQT collar to create a brand-new image.

Spanish Women’s Football World Cup Home Jersey adopts the same design concept as men’s soccer jersey. It represents the combination of the traditional red color of Spanish football and the rhombus pattern originating from the 1994 World Cup jersey, bringing the traditional style with full flavor.

Unlike men’s soccer clothes, the rhombus pattern on women’s soccer clothes is composed of black spots, creating a dynamic visual image. The dark blue Adidas triumphant three stripes and ribbed collar make this New Jersey more classic.

Yellow and Navy blue, representing the Swedish football tradition, are still the protagonists of the Swedish women’s football World Cup shirt in 2019. The retro geometric pattern of the Jersey was inspired by the Swedish national team’s home jersey worn in 1995. The designer hopes to pay tribute to the Nordic country that once hosted the Women’s World Cup. You know, the second Women’s Football World Cup in 1995 was held in Sweden.
