Pumas Unam Club of the National Autonomous University of Mexico and Nike jointly launched a new Pumas Unam Jersey 2019/20.
In addition to preserving the iconic puma face, the New Jersey also
draws inspiration from the Aztec civilization to express the respect for
history and tradition of this Mexican giant team.
The
new season Pumas Unam Home Jersey is elegant in white, and the iconic
puma face is still the hero of the new jersey. Apart from the puma face,
the collar and cuffs of the Jersey are also decorated in blue.
The
new Pumas Unam Home Jersey is inspired by the sun god “Tonatyw” in
Aztec civilization. Not only does the puma face on the chest of the
Jersey add gray and dark lines symbolizing light, but also the unique
decorations on the Jersey representing the image of Tonatyw, in order to
show Tonatyw’s importance in Aztec civilization and even contemporary
Mexican culture. Place it and pay tribute to the players and fans on the
stadium and stands that are always in the sun.
White
pants with blue details and socks make up the team’s home image for the
new season. The front tibial position of socks is also added to the
symbolic design of Cougar Face.
Pumas
Unam’s new season Away Jersey draws inspiration from Tlloc, the God of
rain in Aztec civilization. The Away Jersey is composed of two kinds of
blue vertical stripes of different shades, and the Jersey is embellished
with the image of Rain God Tlloc. We hope that this design will help
the Aztec God to win away. Like the home jersey, the Away Jersey has a
symbolic puma face on its chest and is decorated with gold to symbolize
glory and victory. Blue jeans and socks together constitute the classic
away image of the club. The golden puma face on the front of the socks
reminds people of the proud tradition of this Mexican giant team.
Nike’s new season home and Away Pumas Unam Jersey
for the Puma Club of the National Autonomous University of Mexico is
made of high-performance fabrics with Nike Dri-FIT technology to ensure
that players always have a cool and dry feeling in the game. And the
jersey fabrics are made of recycled polyester fibers to reduce the
impact on the natural environment.
