The
Major League of American Professional Football and Marine Environmental
Protection Organization Parley have joined hands again to launch MLS Parley Jersey 2019
for 24 MLS teams in the hope of arousing repercussions in the field of
football and thus contributing to the cause of global environmental
protection.
Like
the Jersey jointly launched by the three parties before, the new adidas
* Parley * MLS jersey for the 2009 season is still made of renewable
polyester fabrics made by Parley Ocean Plastic technology, thus raising
people’s awareness of marine plastic pollution and actively
participating in the action of reducing pollution.
On
the weekend before World Earth Day this year (April 22), we will see 24
MLS jerseys wearing green jerseys in the competition for the third
consecutive year. Compared with last year’s black and white Adidas *
Parley * MLS jersey, the New Jersey uses two different colours of
Charming Blue and Ink Blue, which makes the home team and the visiting
team jersey have a distinct colour contrast.
All
jerseys are made with Climate technology. The jersey fabrics are made
of recyclable polyester fabrics made from waste plastics collected by
Parley from remote islands, coastlines and coastal cities. These
collected plastic products are reprocessed into regenerated polyester
yarns, which are used in clothing and footwear production. The slogan
“For the Oceans” was added to the collar of all jerseys, while the team
name appeared under the collar of the back of the jersey.
Adidas’s partnership with MLS Parley Jersey
2019 is part of MLS WORKS Greener Goals, an action plan within the
framework of MLS, which aims to highlight MLS’s commitment to
environmental sustainability.
