This is the third consecutive season of Kansas City Athletics to launch the "Retro Night" Special Edition jersey. Like the two previous "Retro Night" Special Edition jerseys, the rainbow elements from the team's renamed front team logo appear in the form of stripes on the chest of the jersey. The retro figure "96" below the Rainbow Stripes shows people the long history of the team club.
The former SC Kansas City Jersey badge was placed on the chest of the shirt, while the existing team badge was placed on the right sleeve. The design with Rainbow Stripes and "WIZ 96 I 19 SKC" on the underside of the round collar, which is full of simple style, shows the changes that have taken place in the club of Kansas City Wizards who joined MLS in 1996 and are now renamed Kansas City Athletics for more than 20 years.
