MLS Columbus Crew announced its new away kit for 2021 season. Named "inaugural stadium kit", this new away Columbus Crew Jersey is designed to celebrate the opening of the club's new home, the new Columbus Crew stadium.
In July this year, the new Columbus Crew stadium will be put into use. This new Away Columbus Crew Jersey is inspired by the new stadium. The grey and white geometric patterns on the front of the Jersey are derived from the grandstand and roof structure of the new stadium. The exquisite Club Badge made by 3D hot pressing technology is placed on the chest. The two silver five pointed stars above the badge represent that the club has won the major league playoff championship in 2008 and 2020 seasons.
The Columbus Crew shirt collar and cuffs are decorated in black and yellow to form the club badge, and the club name "Columbus" is added in the collar band. As the champion of last season's major league, the team will wear silver armband of defending champion in the new season. The map of Ohio where the club is located is placed at the bottom of the shirt. The location of the yellow star in the map is Columbus where the team is located.
Columbus Crew's 2021 away shirt is matched with golden pants and socks. Black Adidas victory stripes are added on both sides of the pants and on the top of the socks.
