J-League Yokohama F. Marinosreleased a special version of the Yokohama F. Marinos Jersey called "forever 3" to commemorate the club's legendary player, Naoki Matsuda, who died of cardiac arrest during training in 2011, and pay tribute to the medical institutions and medical staff who fought in the front line of the anti Covid-19.
This "forever 3" special Yokohama F. Marinos jersey is a public welfare activity called "life", "life", "life" and "life". According to statistics, more than 70000 people die of cardiac arrest every year in Japan. This public welfare activity sponsored by the club hopes to let more people know and master the common sense of first aid, so as to save others' lives in crisis. The club's players and staff also participated in CPR training and learned how to use AED (automatic external defibrillator) to give first aid to patients with cardiac arrest, and recorded video programs to broadcast, so as to avoid the tragedy of Matsuda's tragic death.
This special Yokohama F. Marinos jersey is based on the adidas Tiro 19 Jersey template. The left chest of the Jersey is equipped with a badge with the head image of Naoki Matsuda and the word "forever". The number "3" worn by Naoki Matsuda in Yokohama F. Marinos and Japan national team is added to the chest and back of the Jersey. The profits will be donated to medical institutions in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan.
