Dortmund Jersey Black 2019/20

Dortmund City, where Dortmund football club is located, is located in Ruhr district, which is famous for its coal and steel industry. On the 110th anniversary of the establishment of the club, in order to commemorate this long and proud history. Dortmund teamed up with puma to release a full black limited jersey for the Bundesliga home 5-0 win over Dusseldorf last weekend.



This new limited edition Jersey adopts the all black design that symbolizes coal and steel. Not only is it based on black, but the club badge, puma logo and sponsor advertisement on the Jersey all use the black design that integrates with the Jersey to pay homage to the history related to coal and steel.



The motto "Kohle & Stahl - MIT unserer heimat Tief verwurzelt" (coal and steel - rooted in our home) is added to the collar of the shirt to remind every Dortmund player and fan not to forget the close connection between the Dortmund city where the club is located and coal and steel. Each Dortmund Jersey has a label with the number "09" and a separate number from the year the club was founded in 1909.
