The annual launch of the carnival special edition Jersey has become a reserved program for the Bundesliga club. The New Jersey takes the city of Köln as the top priority of the Jersey design. The red based Jersey is added to the area of Köln, indicating the nine administrative areas of the city and the location of the main stadium of Köln. In addition to the FC Köln badge, the city emblem of Köln and the golden clown hat representing Köln Carnival are also added to the shirt chest.
A gold embroidered clown hat, Köln cathedral and a crown symbolizing Köln are added to the sleeves and hem of the Jersey. Red shorts and socks with red and white stripes make up the complete image of the special edition of the 2015 Köln Carnival Jersey.
Uhlsport has also created a carnival special FC Köln jersey for the goalkeeper as usual. In addition to the same design as the player's Jersey, the 2019 Köln Carnival special goalkeeper's jersey is the same as last year, still with a fresh light blue tone.
